Good Shepherd Bids A Goodbye To The Newhooks

With deep regret the parish of Good Shepherd bid our Honorary Assistants, Capt. The Rev. Dennis Newhook, Lt. (N) The Rev. Bev. Kean-Newhook, and their family farewell as they have been transferred to Halifax, Nova Scotia. We wish them the best at their new posting. Della presents them with a gift from the parish on Sunday June 20, 2010. We wish to thank the both of them for their ministry at Good Shepherd!

Our Tent Service - May 30, 2010

Our tent service didn't go as well as expected because of SNOW!

(At the end of May, no less!)

But some very good looking ladies turned up in

typical 1910 clothing and some "creative hats"

Parking at Good Shepherd

As you all know, parking is at a premium on every Sunday morning . If you are parking in the lot, please park as organized as possible. If you are able, please park in the shopping centre parking lot, or there is also parking across the street at the "Y".

The housing complex next to us has some concerns about their parking spots for regular tenants and the visitor parking being used by the parishioners and the dance group parents. Please do not parking in their designated spots . If you do your vehicle will likely be towed away. Please only use the Church's parking lot when attending.

Scent Free at Good Shepherd

We have members of the congregation that are severely affected by scents and whose health could be jeopardized if you wear cologne, perfume, etc. So please be considerate of your fellow parishioners.
