What’s Up for April?!
The children of our Sunday school continue weekly to collect money for the Boys and Girls Club of Edmonton. We have discussed and are enthusiastic about raising money for children who are just like us yet may not have the same opportunities in life that we have! It is so encouraging to hear our congregation’s children discussing the less fortunate and hearing and seeing what big, caring, empathetic hearts these children have!
Our themes for the month of April will be:
April 7th, 2013- “Can You Believe It?”- He is RISEN!
April 14th, 2013- “Breakfast on the Beach!”- Following Jesus brings great rewards!
April 21st, 2013- “Safe in His Hands”- No one can take us from our Father’s hand!
April 28th, 2013- “A New Commandment”- Love one another as Jesus loved you!
We look forward to spending time, playing games, doing crafts and sharing the word of Christ with the amazing children of our congregation in April!

Bishop Jane presenting a "Travelling Bag" to Rebecca and Christopher. In each of the Traveling Bags were an Everlasting Bible, an Everlasting pencil, an eraser, a holding cross, and chocolate.
CONFIRMATION CLASS 2004
The Sacrament of Confirmation
The Sacrament of Confirmation was held on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at 4:00 pm at the Cathedral. The Rt. Rev'd Tom Morgan confirmed 14 people of the Diocese, 8 of which were from Good Shepherd. It was an absolutely awesome experience for all who were there.
ALTAR SERVERS
There is an urgent need for servers. Servers lead the procession in and out of the service, assist the priest and set the altar for the Eucharist. Servers can be from the age 11 years old and up. If you are interested in attending please speak to Rev. Bob.
