August 2011 - We have started the development of two garden areas in the cemetery to enhance the general appearance. Do you have any time on your hands to help us out? Do you have any perennials you want to donate? Speak to someone on the cemetery committee (names are posted on the notice board) or click on this link.

-Have you visited the cemetery lately? Thanks to the regular grooming by Glen Gogol with the tractor purchased with funds from the Diocese we are seeing significant improvements in its general appearance. Pay a visit and give us your thoughts and suggestions. (use link above for email if you want) Please be aware 82 St. NW is closed right now you need to access it by 195 Ave. NW

- In May 2010 we discovered that Norman Fielders who had served in the First World War was buried in the cemetery in October 1918. On Monday August 1, his name was inscribed on the Fielders family memorial. Costs were paid by the Last Post Fund, a private foundation that looks after burial expenses of indigent veterans.
